Maintenance Worker

Starting at $25 per hour, Depending on Experience. Weekend availability is required. Job Title : Facilities Assistant Location : Pilgrim’s Market, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho Position Type : Part-Time/Full-Time About the Position : As a Facilities Assistant at Pilgrim's Market, you'll play a key role in ensuring our building, grounds, and equipment are well-maintained and functional.

With your hands-on maintenance skills and customer service expertise, you'll support our managers and employees, ensuring a safe and clean environment for all staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities

General Facility Maintenance : Perform a variety of general maintenance tasks, including painting, appliance repair, minor electrical work, carpentry, and other tasks as needed. Assist with service requests and repairs, ensuring efficient and effective completion. Perform repairs and replacements on general fixtures such as doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, and cabinetry.

Ensure all maintenance work is done in accordance with safety standards and company guidelines. Landscape and Exterior Maintenance : Maintain the outdoor spaces, including picking up trash, snow shoveling, leaf blowing, and general landscape care. Ensure that parking lots, walkways, and outside areas are safe and presentable.

Building Systems Inspection : Inspect and clean in-building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical units, reporting any deficiencies or repairs needed to the supervisor. Perform basic cleaning and upkeep of equipment and systems. Safety and Cleanliness : Follow and adhere to the company’s safety programs, ensuring the work environment is safe for all employees.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the facility, contributing to a well-kept and professional environment. Essential Job Requirements : Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Vision corrected to 20/20. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Experience using industrial floor cleaning machines, hand tools (hammer, drill, etc.)

, brooms, and mops. Ability to work in hot and cold environments depending on the weather. Valid drivers license required. Must have driving record free of serious violations in the past 5 years (E.G. DUI/DWI, reckless driving) and a maximum of two minor violations in the past 3 years.
