Wait Staff

We are seeking dependable, kind, patient, passionate, fun & energetic people, that love working with the senior population! Our Dining Services team is responsible for creating a warm and pleasant dining experience for all to enjoy their daily meals. No experience is needed. Just a great attitude & MUST be dependable!

*Must be able to commit to at least two shifts a week. One must be a weekend shift. Shifts start at 4 pm-8 pm. *No late hours! The schedule could fluctuate based on reservations and community events.

Essential Functions

Provides daily meals to residents, their families, and guests. Completes assigned opening and closing side work, at the beginning of a shift, and before the shift is over Assists in washing dishes for the dining room, as assigned. Participates in daily, monthly, and annual cleaning duties. Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.

Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices. Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers. Adheres to all policies and procedures of The Highlands at Pittsford.
