Job description

Director, Rebate Product Program Are you a strategic product leader with deep experience in rebate operations, PBM, or healthcare? Are you ready to lead rebate product strategy and deliver measurable improvements in growth, client value, and operational performance? The Director, Rebate Product Program is responsible for defining and advancing rebate product strategy, driving business growth, and improving operational performance across the rebate product lifecycle.

This role leads product development from concept through launch and optimization, ensuring solutions align with market opportunities, client needs, compliance expectations, operational readiness, and measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a strategic rebate product roadmap with defined timelines, investment considerations, return on investment analysis, and measurable business outcomes. Lead end-to-end product development from concept through launch, including planning, prioritization, requirements definition, stakeholder alignment, implementation readiness, and post-launch optimization.

Conduct market, client, regulatory, and competitive research to identify product opportunities, operational improvement areas, and risks that may impact rebate strategy or execution. Ensure rebate products support revenue growth, client retention, operational efficiency, strategic differentiation, and compliance with applicable business and regulatory expectations.

Partner with technology, finance, legal, compliance, account management, sales, and rebate operations teams to deliver standardized, scalable, and well-governed product execution. Establish governance routines, documentation standards, decision frameworks, and performance measures to support accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Represent rebate product strategy with senior leaders by clearly communicating priorities, tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations.

Requirements

8–10 years of progressive experience in rebate operations, product management, healthcare, pharmacy benefit management, or a related business operations environment. Demonstrated experience leading product strategy, product lifecycle management, roadmap development, requirements definition, and business case creation.

Strong understanding of rebate administration, financial modeling, contract operations, client implementation, compliance considerations, and operational controls. Proven ability to translate market trends, client needs, regulatory requirements, and operational performance data into actionable product requirements and execution plans.

Experience influencing senior stakeholders, facilitating decision-making, managing competing priorities, and communicating complex rebate concepts to executives. Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, governance, communication, and program management skills. Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, healthcare administration, finance, operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing rebate product standards, operating models, controls, or scalable processes across multiple clients, markets, or business segments. Experience in healthcare, Medicaid, pharmacy benefit management, managed care, manufacturer contracting, or related rebate environments. Advanced ability to synthesize financial, operational, compliance, and client feedback into concise recommendations for senior leadership.

Demonstrated success improving product performance, operational efficiency, client satisfaction, revenue growth, or risk management outcomes. Success in This Role Deliver a clearly defined rebate product roadmap with prioritized initiatives, measurable outcomes, and leadership alignment. Improve the speed, consistency, and quality of rebate product execution through standardized processes and governance.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is ($173,750 - $200,000)
