Health Information Management Specialist II

The Health Information Management (HIM) Specialist II will perform a variety of tasks associated with the collecting, analyzing, and indexing of patient care documentation in the Breg Claim System (BCS). Application of knowledge includes the process to store, retrieve, review, analyze, and process health-related information in both paper and electronic format. S/he will serve as a resource for all members of the Breg Billing Team to improve medical record information obtained to allow for accurate documentation and billing practices compliant with applicable Federal, State, and Accreditation guidelines. This role will contribute to the success of the Breg Billing Organization and all continuous quality improvement initiatives.
