Production Associate

SFMC Home Lending is currently hiring for a Production Associate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Production Associate assists a designated loan officer(s) in originating and processing loans. Duties include: Representing the company in a professional manner and providing an exceptional level of customer service in all interactions and functions of the position Following up on leads for potential borrowers Coordinating receipt of a complete and accurate loan application package Communicating effectively and quickly to all parties, both internally and externally, about timelines and expectations to ensure all loans close on time Following up with borrowers for items needed for loan submission Preparing disclosures and submission of loan file for processing Tracking the loan throughout the entire loan application process Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 2+ years of mortgage experience or related position High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus Knowledge and understanding of the lending process, federal and state law, and various loan products and guidelines NMLS License preferred Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diversity of audiences.

Demonstrated problem-solving ability and conflict resolution skills. Must have attention to detail and customer service focus. Ability to adhere to established processes and checklists. Flexibility and adaptability in a fluid and rapidly changing environment. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strict time requirements. Proficient with MS Office, with a knowledge of industry automation and software. High level of integrity, ethics, discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information. Sales aptitude is a plus.
