Residential Shift Lead (Part-Time) SSTARBIRTH Program – Cranston, RI At SSTARBIRTH , you'll do more than fill a position, you'll help transform lives. Our long-term residential substance use disorder treatment program supports pregnant, postpartum, and parenting women as they build healthy, stable futures for themselves and their families.

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Part-Time Residential Shift Lead to join our dedicated team. In this rewarding role, you'll provide leadership, encouragement, and support within a safe, recovery-focused environment where every day offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and children.

Schedule 8–16 hours per week Must include weekend availability Key Responsibilities Implement and support the daily program schedule and structured activities Supervise and engage with residents and their children in a trauma-informed, respectful manner Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of residents and children at all times Monitor and document client self-administration of medications in accordance with program protocols Complete accurate and timely shift documentation and reports Maintain appropriate professional boundaries while fostering a supportive environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience in human services preferred Experience working with individuals in recovery, women, or families strongly preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics Why Join SSTARBIRTH?

Skills/Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Good communication skills. Ability to work independently. Crisis prevention and intervention skills preferred. Prior experience working in Residential Treatment and/or knowledge of early recovery related issues is preferred. HOURLY WAGE RANGE: $18.00
