Introduction Your role and responsibilities Software Developer, IBM Corporation, Austin, TX (Up to 40% telecommuting permitted): * Assess requirements, create a design, and turn it into a finished working deliverable. * Work with technical teams to implement next generation security initiatives and security proof of concepts to improve internal security posture and response. * Design and configure SIR (Security Incident Response) and ITSM (IT Service Management) scoped applications using JavaScript, AJAX and HTML in Service. Now for custom script building, ACL management, MID server deployment and utilization of platform specific APIs and RESTful APIs. * Develop custom workflows and integrations with various technologies (QRadar, Remedy, Resilient). * Own tickets bugs and enhancement requests and collaborate with stakeholders and customers to better understand requirements and meet success criteria. * Migrate SOC business processes and requirements to runbooks in Service. Now. * Develop and customize Service. Now Platform Applications leveraging ITIL standards. * Create templates, mockups and prototypes, web interfaces, layouts, and flow of future pages using web standards. * Work with CSS background, layouts, positioning, text, border, padding, pseudo classes, elements, and CSS behaviors in CSS. * Perform system analysis, design, workflow architecture, development, testing, and maintenance of web-based applications. * Utilize: JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, Automated Test Framework (ATF), GitHub, Agile, Jira. Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related and two (2) years of experience as a Software Developer or related.
