Paraeducator II - Special Education Part- Time (In House and Outside Posting)

Job Summary

Under general supervision, perform a variety of Special Education instructional activities; assist children experiencing special learning needs; administer, score and record a variety of assessments; carry out routine clerical and supportive tasks; and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

/ Qualifications This is a part-time position. You will be working 1:1 with a student.

• High school diploma or equivalent, and one of the following:

1. Associate of Arts degree, or
2. Completion of two years of study at an institution of higher education (48 semester units), or Completion of a formal local or state academic assessment test. Assessment Information: Applicants needing to complete the required assessment may contact Human Resources to register for an upcoming test date. Testing is provided by the District at no cost to applicants. Letter of Introduction (Cover Letter from Applicant- please address to Debra French) Letter(s) of Recommendation (2 letters must be dated within one (1) calendar year of the application submission date and signed by the individual providing the recommendation.)
