Storekeeper

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• To provide courteous and professional service at all times.
• Assists in ensuring all merchandise entering and leaving storeroom is properly documented.
• Assists in ensuring all merchandise is properly stored and maintained in accordance with LIFO system of inventory (i.e. first item in is the first items out).
• Assists in ensuring that the requested merchandise is allocated and received by the appropriate department in a timely manner.
• Assists in examining the merchandise entering the Warehouse, ensuring it’s excellent condition and required specifications.
• Assists in transcribing requisitions slips (manual or system generated) ensuring they are accurate, legible and reflective of the stock items given to departments requesting same. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma Excellent verbal and written skills Computer Literate (Microsoft Office)
