Client Service Coordinator $18.00–$25.00/hour (DOE) Full-time opportunity in Santa Barbara, California Schedule: Full-time | Weekend & some holiday availability required Available shifts: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM | 9:00 AM–7:00 PM | 12:00 PM–10:00 PM Build your career in veterinary client service with Advanced Veterinary Specialists (AVS).

As a Client Service Coordinator, you'll be one of the first points of contact for pet owners, helping create a welcoming, compassionate experience while supporting the daily operations of a busy specialty and emergency veterinary hospital. In Your Day-to-Day, You Will Welcome clients and pets while providing compassionate, professional customer service. Answer incoming calls, screen client needs, schedule and confirm veterinary appointments, and prepare clients for their visits. Coordinate communication and workflow between clients, veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians, and clinical teams.

Admit and discharge patients while maintaining accurate client and patient information. Create and maintain veterinary medical records and enter information into the hospital's practice management system. Process payments, post transactions, and assist with other front desk and administrative responsibilities. Address client questions and concerns professionally while helping create a positive client experience.

What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of customer service experience; veterinary hospital or animal healthcare experience strongly preferred. At least one year of receptionist, hospitality, front desk, or other client-facing experience. Excellent communication, customer service, organization, and multitasking skills.

Strong computer and data-entry skills with the ability to maintain accurate electronic medical records. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to type at least 45 WPM and use a 10-key calculator. Ability to remain professional, compassionate, and organized in a fast-paced specialty and emergency veterinary environment.
