Occupational Therapist

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the SELPA Director, the occupational therapist provides training and consultation to staff and parents and/or direct services to assist individuals with conditions which are mentally, physically, developmentally or emotionally disabling to benefit from their basic educational program.

Requirements

/ Qualifications DESIRED EXPERIENCE: ·Two years experience in occupational therapy with a primary focus on pediatric clients. REQUIRED EDUCATION: ·Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university with a major in occupational therapy REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND/OR CREDENTIALS: ·Current registration issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy ·Current valid California Driver’s License Application, resume and at least one current letter of reference Comments and Other Information Criminal Records clearance and successful results on a pre-employment medical exam prior to start date.
