Requirements

/ Qualifications Must hold a Teaching Credential or be willing to obtain an Emergency 30-Day Substitute Permit. To qualify for an emergency permit, the applicant must possess a Bachelors Degree or higher and met the Basic Skills Requirement. Please attach the following: Credential (If Applicable) Verification of meeting Basic Skills Requirement Transcripts Resume (Optional) CPR Certification (If applicable) Immunization Record (including proof of Measles, Pertusis, and Influeza) (for preschool assignments) Comments and Other Information The following Inyo County School Districts and Programs hire substitute teachers from this eligibility pool: Round Valley Elementary, Bishop Unified, Big Pine Unified, Owens Valley Unified, Lone Pine Unified and the Inyo County Office of Education Alternative Education, Child Development and Special Education Programs.
