Hospitalist Needed in Litchfield County, CT | 7-On/7-Off Schedule & Closed ICU

Healthcare United is seeking a BE/BC Hospitalist for a full-time opportunity in the Litchfield Area, Connecticut. Practice broad inpatient Internal Medicine in a community setting with a closed ICU and access to specialty consultation.

Overview

Hospitalist Location: Litchfield Area, Connecticut Practice Setting: Community hospital Work Schedule: Seven days on followed by seven days off; daytime role. Patient / Case Volume: Daily shared-service census of approximately 40–50 patients, shared between day and night providers; approximately 5–10 admissions per day across the service Support Staff / Resources: Typically two providers per shift, with an interdisciplinary team, specialty support and a closed ICU supported by Intensivists Compensation: Competitive base compensation plus incentives New Grads/Practicing: New graduates welcome to apply.

What You Can Expect Support admissions, inpatient treatment, discharge planning, and coordination with community physicians. The ICU is closed and supported by Intensivists; work alongside an interdisciplinary Hospital Medicine team. Contribute to improvements in patient flow, safety, and continuity of care.
