Seasonal Dive Instructor

The Seasonal Dive Instructor specializes in demonstrating safe scuba diving techniques and teaching students individually or in groups through discussions and practical demonstrations, building confidence in basic scuba skills. The role includes instructing scuba techniques in pools and open water for recreational divers or certification candidates, demonstrating basic scuba skills, accompanying divers underwater, and responding to emergencies to ensure student safety and preparedness.

Additional responsibilities include monitoring student performance continuously, providing guidance and additional training as needed, handling and transporting equipment, driving students to dive sites, stocking the dive boat, and following environmental protection procedures.

Requirements

Professional certification from PADI, IANTD, or equivalent. O Level education or higher. Extensive scuba diving experience. Valid CPR and First Aid certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to produce well-structured written communications and persuasive oral presentations. Leadership and mentoring experience with junior instructors and team members.
