Web Miner

UBS Evidence Lab is looking for a web mining engineer to join its Execution team. The teams’ focus is building scalable frameworks and services used to analyse large datasets in the context of financial analysis and alternative data. They leverage well-established engineering processes and techniques pioneered by giants in the tech industry.

Projects span general pipelining to collecting valuable data from various sources and helping develop robust and sustainable data pipeline.

Responsibilities

• develop data collecting scripts to be leveraged by clients, internally and externally - maintain existing projects and ensure its robustness, acceptable performance and reliability - maintain a high standard of code quality within the broader Execution team - adapt the latest data processing and infrastructure techniques to our growing stack
