Job description
The Medical Examiner Donation Specialist (MEDS) is responsible for maximizing donation opportunities at all our partner coroner and medical examiner offices. The MEDS is also responsible for representing One. Legacy to develop those relationships that will maximize the potential for organ, eye and tissue donation as well as assisting in determining if the tissue is suitable for recovery and transplantation.
The MEDS is also responsible for gathering clinical information on all CME referrals from the referral facility and additional healthcare providers and will assist in donor allocation as needed.
