Stack!Pay Rate:The pay rate for this job is $20.25 - $20.25 / hour*What you'll be doing as a Shop Coordinator:Inventory & Material Management: Stock, organize, and deliver roofing materials as required or directed by the Director of Operations.

Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee maintenance and repairs for company vehicles, trailers, kettles, torches, generators, Pace carts/Patriot machines, and power tools. Ensure equipment is properly inspected when returning from a project and before being deployed to a new project. Diagnose, clean, maintain, and repair small-engine equipment (e.

g., generators, saws, compressors, and power tools). Tool Tracking Management: Oversee the check-in/check-out process for tools issued to foremen and maintain accurate records. Shop Operations & Logistics: Coordinate the daily loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring materials are properly labeled for each project. Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA safety guidelines and company policies within the shop and yard, including proper material storage and hazard communication.

Facility Maintenance: Ensure sprinklers are set to operate as needed, empty dehumidifiers throughout the facility, keep water stocked for crews, and maintain a clean and organized yard. Assist with processing waste and scrap materials and perform general facility maintenance tasks. Available shifts:Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day).

Job requirements:Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with People. Ready. Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a mechanic or shop management role. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with commercial roofing materials, accessories, and the safe handling of chemicals or hot asphalt is a plus.

Certifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a forklift. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 90 lbs and work in an active warehouse and yard environment. Skills: Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking, strong organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.

Proven ability to troubleshoot, clean, maintain, and repair small gasoline engines and common construction power tools. Background check and drug test required.
