Corporate Communications Manager

Responsibilities

Formulate and execute media relations strategies, including coordinating media interviews, press conferences and media briefings; handling media inquiries; monitoring media and public sentiment relating to the Bank; and maintaining good media relations. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop and implement proactive corporate communication initiatives that enhance the Bank’s brand image and support key business objectives.

Draft and edit communication materials, including press releases, annual reports and other corporate literature. Plan, coordinate, and manage corporate events and activities, including media events, stakeholder engagements and other strategic communication initiatives.

Requirements

Hold a university degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Translation, Public Relations, or a related discipline. Possess at least six years of solid experience in corporate communications and media relations. Prior experience in the banking or financial services sector is advantageous but not a must. Demonstrate a proven track record in planning, developing, and executing corporate and media events, as well as managing complex projects.

Possess an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is a plus. Strong communication, writing and editing skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail, are essential. Be able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines, with strong problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be mature, independent, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
