Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the division to determine appropriate list prices, standard discounts and rebates and managing any restructuring, updating, communication and publications of price increase. Identify and develop short term tactical pricing opportunities and related solutions. Identify near term opportunities to improve the pricing process and enhance margin capture and efficiencies.

Conduct training and education to commercial and sales organizations on pricing concepts and program changes. Execute short- and long-term pricing goals, strategies, and tactics defined through close collaboration with various functional groups. Direct the utilization of pricing tools to track pricing performance versus sales and margin mix objectives.

Maintain sales prices and purchase costs in the system; manage customer purchasing permissions. Keys to Success Experience supporting the development and/or implementation of pricing roadmaps, and the ability to develop and execute near-term and long-term pricing strategies. In addition to pricing, the individual should have a solid understanding of marketing and business strategy.

Strong hands-on experience and capabilities in analytics, strategy development, process implementation and price optimization. Communication skills – The individual must be fluent in Mandarin and preferably (but not mandatory) English, and have advanced writing and communication skills, and be able to interact and persuade individuals at levels senior or equal to him or her, as well as actively participate in meetings and group discussions with individuals from various functions of the organization (e.

g. Sales, Finance, Marketing). Significant interface skills with field sales team Proven skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities with a strong attention to detail and an ability to multi-task. Demonstrated business acumen. Supervisory Responsibilities Requirements and Preferred Skills Minimum 3 years’ experience in business-to-business manufacturing, distribution, or a related field.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, mathematics, economics, finance, Automotive or related field required. Tools, software and other technical application experience/proficiencies.
