Switchboard Operator

Supports the hospital by operating switchboard. Answers, screens, transfers incoming and outgoing calls. Monitors alarms and code situations to activate notification systems when directed. Answers calls in efficient manner, uses digital pages as needed. Accesses patient information, uses scripting for all interactions.

Must be willing to work rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekend rotation. Monitors alarms and code situations to activate notification systems when directed. Performs other duties as assigned/required.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent Experience: 6 months as operator or in customer service
