Highway Maintenance Worker I: Small Equipment Operator (61036254)

Operates small motorized equipment on the Shoulder Crew, such as, but not limited to, dump truck, and self-contained sweeper in the maintenance of highways. Assists with repairs and/or installation of drainage structures, shoulder repairs, slope repairs and cleaning and grading of ditches. Assists with the placement of traffic control devices to properly set up a maintenance work zone.

Serves as a flagger to safely direct and control traffic in maintenance work zones.
