Custodian (Evening)

Centrally located on Interstate 94 less than 25 miles northwest of Maple Grove and 30 miles southeast of Saint Cloud, Monticello is home to five brick and mortar schools and two nature-based facilities serving more than 4,000 students annually. Monticello consistently ranks in the top 50 school districts in the state as measured by a number of organizations and metrics, and performs above the state average in graduation rates, test scores, and early college opportunities.

Description: Custodial Opportunity with Monticello Schools. Expected Location : Monticello Middle School with the hours of 3:00pm - 11:30pm Monday

• Friday The duties of our Custodial staff will include: General cleaning and maintenance striving to keep facilities and grounds in good repair.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Essential Skills Required: Considerable ability to follow oral and written instruction, to complete daily activities according to work schedule Prioritize work and perform duties independently Driven to meet needs with a positive attitude and in a timely manner Effective communication and teaming skills Knowledge of computer and standard applications Willingness to be flexible and excellent attendance Maintain confidentiality of information about students Experience working with diverse students and families Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occassionally lift 75 - 100 pounds Hourly Pay Range : $21.

05 - $26.93 per the current Custodial Master Agreement 2025-2027 Overtime Eligibility: All positions within the Custodial & Maintenance unit are eligible to elect and/or be delegated intermittent overtime assignments.
