RN / LPN Health Office Aide Pinewood Elementary 7 Hours / Day

• Monday through Friday Available October 20, 2026 Job Summary: Under the direction of the Licensed School Nurse, the Health Office Educational Support Specialist provides support for student health services and daily health office operations. This role assists in delivering basic first aid and health care to students, maintaining accurate health records, and administering medications in accordance with district policy and physician authorization. The Health Office ESS communicates with parents, staff, and students regarding health-related concerns and supports the preparation and maintenance of required district and state health documentation and reports.

Education

& Qualifications Requirements: License as a Licensed Practical Nurse OR Registered Nurse from Minnesota Board of Nursing. Current CPR certification for the Healthcare Professional and current First Aid certification. Licensed to administer medications Essential Skills: Position requires accuracy, meeting deadlines, handling multiple tasks at once while dealing with constant interruptions, and prioritizing tasks.

Knowledge of medical terminology, diseases, current healthcare issues, concerns, and trends. Requires strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Position required flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks as directed by the Licensed School Nurse. Involves meeting student needs while exhibiting patience.

Involves making and maintaining effective working relationships with a wide variety of constituents. Ability to handle confidential information and circumstances with discretion.
