Dishwasher (High-Volume Kitchen)

Dishwasher Department: Kitchen Department Reports To: Food Production Manager Department Description The Kitchen Department is a fundamental pillar in safeguarding the food quality at fit-flavors. Our team diligently oversees the quality of ingredients from our vendors, monitors the preparation process by our prep team, and ensures the final cooked dishes meet our high standards.

Within the kitchen, various stations, ranging from the dishwasher to the chef de cuisine, each play a crucial role in delivering the delightful and nutritious meals our customers have come to expect.

Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated, energetic, and hardworking Dishwasher/Utility team member to join our kitchen. This is one of the most important support roles in our operation, ensuring every department has the clean equipment they need to produce high-quality meals efficiently. This position is compensated above the market because it is a demanding, high-volume role.

Our kitchen operates at a fast pace, and success requires exceptional stamina, physical capability, and the ability to maintain speed, organization, and attention to detail throughout the day. This is a big job that requires someone who takes pride in their work and understands the critical impact the dish station has on the success of the entire kitchen.

The ideal candidate has an ownership mindset, works with urgency, communicates well with the kitchen team, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to support the operation. You'll work closely with our Sous Chefs and Chef de Cuisine while receiving ongoing coaching and support from your manager and trainer to help you succeed and grow professionally.

• No Weekends Compensation $18 per hour Physical Requirements -Physically able to stand for long periods of time -Able to lift 50 + Lbs -Able to work in a wet environment -Able to work in a loud environment Key Result Areas & Responsibilities Kitchen Department | Dishwasher/Utility -Maintaining the cleanliness of all dishes. -Prioritize cleaning dishes by the ones used most frequently or the ones needed by each department to complete their job. -Maintain the organization of clean and dirty dishes. -Gather dirty dishes from the packaging department. -Remove labels from all dishes. -Maintain the cleanliness of the dish station. (squeegee floors, clear food debris from station, wipe down walls etc..) -Work with the other dishwashers to maintain speed, cleanliness and the organization of the dishes. -When the dish station is caught up it is the dishwashers responsibility to communicate with the chefs for other cleaning/prepping tasks. -The water in the machine needs to be changed out every hour. -Monthly deep cleaning duties as specified by the Chef De Cuisine and Sous Chefs to be completed.
