Quick Lube Technician

Team Honda on 30 in Merrillville, IN, is hiring a full-time Quick Lube Technician to join our automotive service team!

As a Quick Lube Technician, you’ll perform essential vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and multipoint inspections.

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine oil changes and replace engine oil filters.

• Complete tire rotations and check tire pressure.

• Inspect and top off vehicle fluids.

• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and multipoint inspections.

• Inspect and replace air filters, cabin filters, and wiper blades.

• Assist with battery testing and replacement.

• Identify potential maintenance concerns and communicate findings to service advisors.

• Follow manufacturer recommendations and dealership safety procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Work efficiently with other automotive technicians to provide timely, high-quality service.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Lube Technician, Oil Change Technician, Automotive Technician, or Automotive Service Technician is preferred.

• Basic automotive maintenance knowledge is helpful.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced automotive service environment.

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with automotive maintenance.

Experience with oil changes, tire rotations, or general vehicle maintenance is a plus, but candidates looking to develop their automotive skills are encouraged to apply.
