We're seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team at the Nova III Program . In this role, you'll provide support, encouragement, and guidance to individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges as they work toward recovery, stability, and greater independence. Whether you're beginning your career in human services or bringing valuable experience to the field, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day while helping individuals build the skills and confidence needed to achieve their personal goals.
About Nova III The Nova III Program is a Resources for Human Development residential behavioral health program that provides supportive services to individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. Through person-centered and trauma-informed care, Nova III helps individuals strengthen recovery skills, build community connections, and work toward greater independence and improved quality of life.

- Make a Difference Every Day What You'll Do As a Direct Support Professional , you will:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including meal preparation and household responsibilities
- Provide supervision, support, and encouragement to individuals working toward recovery goals
- Help individuals develop skills that improve independence and overall quality of life
- Foster a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed environment
- Support individuals in building relationships and participating in community activities
- Complete required documentation and service records accurately and on time
- Monitor and respond appropriately to crisis situations
- Facilitate and document groups as assigned
- Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations
- Assist with transportation to appointments, community activities, and services
- Monitor medications as assigned and maintain required documentation
- Support implementation of treatment plans and service goals

- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Basic computer and internet literacy
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and documenting in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of or willingness to work with individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges
- Ability to complete required training, including CPR, First Aid, and other assigned trainings Preferred
- Previous experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential services
- Experience supporting individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices
- Experience with group facilitation and documentation Schedule
- On-Call
- Flexible scheduling based on program needs
- Ability to pick up shifts as available
- Evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required
- Schedule subject to change based on business needs Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, and drive as needed
- Ability to transport individuals safely when required
