Accountant

On behalf of a professional services firm based in Nicosia, we are seeking an Accountant to manage financial records, support bookkeeping, and collaborate with the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

Handle accounting and bookkeeping matters Record of accounting transactions Maintain complete and accurate accounting records Prepare VAT returns, payroll reports and liaise with the Social Insurances, Income Tax and VAT department etc. Monthly Reconciliations of suppliers, customers, bank statements Update financial data, document and file accounting transactions in an organized manner Calculate payroll taxes, social insurances, income tax for individuals and corporations Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable Ensure all supplier invoices are paid as per the terms and conditions agreed.

Assist in daily banking requirements. Update the daily cash flow Communicate indirectly with customers Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel Perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the management from Requirements Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience Basic Knowledge in VAT regulations, Social Insurance services, and Tax authorities Exposure in accounting software (e.
