Position Overview

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Dietitian for a leading rehabilitative therapy and long-term care facility in Mount Vernon, Westchester County, NY. This role focuses on delivering personalized nutritional care to diverse patients in a state-of-the-art clinical environment.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution. Licensure: Dietitian licensure is preferred, but not required. Experience: Prior experience in a relevant role is required. Technical Skills: Proficient in nutritional assessments, care planning, and clinical documentation.

Experience with electronic health records. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, patience, and the ability to educate patients and families on nutrition principles.

Key Responsibilities

This role focuses on delivering personalized nutritional care to diverse patients in a state-of-the-art clinical environment. Nutritional Assessment: Evaluate patient data to identify dietary needs, restrictions, and areas for health improvement. Care Planning: Design, implement, and adjust individualized nutrition plans to support patient recovery.

Patient Education: Guide patients, families, and caregivers on nutrition principles and healthy eating habits. Clinical Collaboration: Partner with the broader healthcare team to deliver comprehensive, integrated care. Progress Monitoring & Documentation: Track patient outcomes and maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records.
