Building Official

The purpose of this position is to plan, review, organize and direct the building department by inspecting new and existing buildings and structures to enforce conformance to building, grading, and zoning laws and approved plans, specifications, and standards.   This is accomplished by performing the inspections to meet code requirement on quality of work done by the contractors; noting any code violations and verifying compliance with code; developing and implementing a backflow program and maintaining records of annual backflow report; developing and implementing a Fats, Oils and Grease program and maintaining records and enforcement; and reviewing permit applications, submittals and...
