We are looking for a Staff Data Engineer to join our Customer Success team and help customers maximize the value of the Denodo Platform through technical consulting, solution development, troubleshooting, and enablement. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Data Virtualization, SQL, ETL, Data Integration, and Data Warehousing, along with excellent client-facing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
In this role, you will collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to design, implement, optimize, and support enterprise data solutions while driving successful customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical consulting, implementation support, and troubleshooting for customers using the Denodo Platform. Develop deep expertise in the Denodo Platform, including its architecture, advanced features, and best practices. Diagnose and resolve customer issues related to data virtualization, integrations, and enterprise data solutions.
Deliver technical training and enablement sessions on Denodo Platform architecture, configuration, and implementation. Support customers with solution customization, architecture design, enterprise integration, and platform optimization. Participate in issue escalation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Support teams by providing technical recommendations and customer feedback. Design, build, and lead custom solution deployments based on customer requirements. Develop technical documentation, white papers, knowledge base articles, and technical presentations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. Participate in on-call support activities and travel to customer locations when required. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and continuously enhance technical expertise. Key Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
7–12 years of experience in Data Virtualization, SQL, ETL, Data Integration, or Data Warehousing. Strong hands-on experience with SQL and relational, analytical, or cloud database technologies. Good understanding of JDBC, XML, and Web Services APIs. Experience providing technical consulting, customer support, troubleshooting, and enterprise solution implementation.
Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Data Integration, and Data Warehousing concepts. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication, technical presentation, and documentation abilities. Ability to work directly with customers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
