Key Responsibilities
KPIs/Deliverables Define the quality vision, mission, and KPIs across the product lifecycle Documented QMS framework and strategic quality plan Establish a robust QMS (ISO 9001, BIS, in-house standards) tailored to small-scale but high-mix production QMS implementation scorecard, ISO certification Develop short-, mid-, and long-term quality goals linked to business needs Quarterly quality reviews and improvement scorecards Chair internal MRM (Management Review Meetings) on Quality performance % action closure from MRM 2. Incoming Material & Supplier Quality Management KRA Objective: Ensure defect-free materials/components from suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
KPIs/Deliverables Develop and implement IQC procedures for critical components (motors, heating elements, plastics, electronics) Incoming rejection rate 99.5% Implement endurance, load, and stress tests as per product type (e.g., heating cycles for kettles) Product MTBF, reliability test data Drive first-pass yield improvement across lines FPY > 95% Handle pre-dispatch inspections, customer inspections, and QA certifications Zero dispatch delays due to QA 5. Customer Quality & Field Feedback Loop KRA Objective: Close the loop from field failures to factory improvements.
