Security Officer - Part Time

The Armed Safety & Security Officer provides comprehensive protection for IRMC patients, visitors, staff, and property. This role includes all responsibilities of the Safety & Security Officer, with the added requirement of carrying and safely operating department-issued firearms, taser, baton, and handcuffs. Officers must demonstrate rational decision-making, sound judgment, and strict adherence to use-of-force policies.

Armed Officers respond to high-risk situations, support law enforcement coordination, and maintain readiness for critical incidents while upholding IRMC’s H.E.A.R.T. customer service standards.
