6th Grade Math Teacher - Middle School

• Committing to constant professional growth through feedback, coaching, and professional development
• Using student achievement data to set ambitious academic goals for students
• Constantly assessing student progress, and communicating results to families and colleagues
• Providing individual or small group instruction for students who need additional assistance
• Committing to tutoring, after school activities, and being a part of the larger school community Qualified candidates have:
• Bachelor’s Degree required (relevant fields include education, math, science, interdisciplinary studies)
• At least two years of working with youth
• Ability to further education to become licensed in the state of North Carolina
• Required acceptance to EPP Program A teaching demonstration is required. Ability to work on-campus and remote is required. Licensed teachers teach 4 days a week. Friday remote planning work. Licensed teachers receive expanded benefit support.
