Cylindrical Grinder Operator – Experienced

· Perform cylindrical ID and OD grinding operations on precision components

• Set up and operate cylindrical grinding machines independently
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and required surface finish
• Select and dress grinding wheels as per job requirement
• Inspect finished parts using appropriate measuring instruments
• Maintain production quality and minimize rejection
• Follow safety practices and maintain machine cleanliness

Requirements

• Diploma in any stream / ITI (Grinder Trade preferred)
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in cylindrical grinding
• Good understanding of precision machining and tolerances
• Ability to work independently on assigned jobs
• Willingness to work in shifts if required
• Experience in cylindrical grinding operations
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge of tolerances, fits, and surface finish requirements
• Proficiency in using measuring instruments (Micrometer, Dial Gauge, Vernier)
• Understanding of grinding wheel selection and dressing
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
