Business Intelligence/Analytics Lead

Savvee Inc. is seeking a qualified Business Intelligence/Analytics Lead to support our federal client onsite in Ashburn, VA. This position will lead dashboard development, reporting architecture, portfolio analytics, scorecards, and executive decision support. The role connects financial, acquisition, workforce, project, delivery, performance, and risk information into trusted management views.

The successful candidate must be able to work effectively with Government stakeholders, program leadership, functional leads, contractor personnel, and multidisciplinary teams in a fast-moving, mission-focused environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Leading the BI and analytics approach, backlog, standards, architecture, prototyping, development, validation, deployment, and sustainment.
• Identifying authoritative data sources, owners, common identifiers, metric definitions, calculation rules, refresh cadences, and data-quality controls.
• Designing executive and drill-down dashboards that connect portfolio conditions to underlying programs, metrics, trends, and source detail.
• Leading rapid prototyping, wireframing, requirements validation, and iterative working sessions with Government users.
• Ensuring calculations, transformations, thresholds, filters, refreshes, and visual behavior are tested and documented before release.
• Coordinating analytics across financial, acquisition, project, workforce, Agile, contract, and performance data.
• Applying Section 508, security, access, usability, documentation, adoption, and sustainment requirements to analytical products.
• Performing additional duties as assigned in support of evolving contract requirements and client needs.
• Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
• Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING
• Bachelor’s degree MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
• Seven or more years of business intelligence, analytics, dashboard development, reporting architecture, or comparable experience
• Demonstrated leadership using Power BI or comparable enterprise BI platforms, including data modeling, measures, visualization, security, and deployment
• Experience integrating disparate portfolio, financial, acquisition, project, workforce, or performance data for executive decision support
• Strong requirements, prototyping, data-quality, documentation, stakeholder-communication, and team-leadership skills
• Must have the ability to obtain the client’s Public Trust clearance DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• DHS, CBP, federal IT portfolio, performance-management, or program-control analytics experience
• Power BI certification
• Experience with Power Query, DAX, SQL, SharePoint, Power Platform, data gateways, Section 508, or AI-assisted analytics
• Proven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AI-assisted tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organization skills
• A highly motivated self-starter
