Associate/Legal Counsel (Compliance)

Provide day-to-day legal and compliance advice to business stakeholders across our markets across a wide range of topics including platform products and features, live-streaming and video content, product liability, logistics and cross-border matters. Review new programs, features and services and provide pragmatic advice to business stakeholders, including drafting internal and external facing policies.

Proactively work with business stakeholders to review commercial frameworks, identify legal gaps and develop compliance plans. Oversee and coordinate with local legal teams to cascade regional initiatives and resolve local legal issues. Monitor legal landscape and coordinate correspondence/engagement with regulatory authorities.

Provide internal trainings as required. Performing ad hoc legal initiatives as aligned with business strategy. Singapore-qualified lawyer with strong contracts experience. In-house experience in e-commerce/internet platforms is a plus. Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to lead projects as required.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams from different cultural and professional backgrounds. Ability to analyse business risks and provide pragmatic legal advice in a dynamic environment.
