The 3PL Hazardous Material Buyer shall define governmental requirements and perform research using purchase descriptions, Military, Federal or standard commercial or manufacturer specifications. The 3PL Hazardous Material Buyer shall perform market research, identifies potential vendors and initiates purchasing actions for critical item purchases to prevent work stoppages and unforeseen zero balance inventory balances.

Frequently coordinates with technical or quality personnel to ensure vendor compliance with the item description. Monitors and reports daily productivity and program metrics.
