English (for Bible and Theology) Teacher

Teach general English and English for Bible and Theology to Bachelor of Theology students preparing to be pastors. Develop a comprehensive approach for the Bachelor of Theology curriculum, including needs assessment, desired outcomes, and curriculum scope and sequence.

Education

Level Required MA in TESOL with some Bible/Theology courses or MA in Bible or Theology or related field plus TESOL certification Minimum Length of Commitment Two years minimum, but longer term preferred Hanoi Bible College serves the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North), which includes the Red River Delta region and the northern highland provinces.

The majority of students are Hmong, but the ethnic Vietnamese and other minority groups are also represented. Due to significant growth of the church in recent decades, the church is in great need of well-trained leaders. To that end the church started Hanoi Bible College in 2013 to train young people for ministry. The school teaches at the BTh level and teaches in Vietnamese.

Following a period of language study and pending the approval of the Hanoi Bible College principal, lecturers contribute to the training and growth of BTh students through teaching, preaching in chapel, and pastoral care. Location Hanoi, Vietnam
