Street Lighting Technician

Job Description: Street Lighting Technician Education & Certifications;

• Systems or a combination of formal education and experience. An Associate’s degree in Electricity/Electronics preferred.
• Certification in bucket truck and digger derrick operation.
• International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Signs and Markings.
• IMSA Roadway Lighting. Experience;
• Two years’ experience in electrical repair of street lights or an equivalent level of experience. Skills;
• Attention to details.
• Basic math skills.
• Computer software skills in applications such as GBA and Light Finder.
• Working knowledge of public section administration.
• Time management skills.
• Manual dexterity.
• Reading skills.
• Good listening skills.
