Gymnastics Instructor

Hourly: $20.81 - $20.81 Department: Culture & Recreation, Recreation Division: Gymnastics FLSA: Non-Exempt Job Description: This role will be r esponsible for teaching recreational gymnastics classes. Examples of Duties: Instructs participants in gymnastics techniques and programs.

Monitors individual participant’s progress on gymnastics skills and techniques. Choreographs gymnastics routines. Promotes a safe gymnastics environment. Assists other organizations (schools, etc.) with lessons and teams. Monitors the condition of equipment. Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

Knowledge of gymnastics techniques and training practices High school diploma or active pursuit thereof, or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to earn First Aid & CPR certifications within 6 months of hire.
