Job Role: Powertrain CALIBRATION/ VALIDATION ENGINEER Engine Control Calibration & Validation for Engines (Petrol /CNG) on Engine/ Vehicle Evaluation of Calibration for function, performance, emission and reliability – EMS / Auto t/m (AMT/AT/CVT) / Hybrid Meeting model milestones and resolving open items Competencies Required: Technical: HANDS ON EXPOSURE on Engine / Vehicle Development

• Powertrain Calibration /Evaluation (pref. Drivability). Understanding of Calibration process/management Experience of Working on Chassis Dyno and basic understanding of Testing, and Instrumentation. Understanding of Torque based EMS Function Frames / EMS Logic for calibration & Issue resolution is desirable Proficient in Calibration Tools such as INCA & Related HW Understanding of Data Analysis Tools such as Concerto / MDA/MATLAB/ Excel Macro etc. Understanding of Vehicle CAN and functioning is desirable. Understanding of Vehicle CAN and functioning is desirable. Understanding of Torque Coordination Automatic Transmission Control & Hybrid control calibration. Behavioral: Good Driving Skills (4-Wheeler) and Driving License Committed to a Long-Term Career with MSIL Should be able to flexibly work as per Shift Timings at Gurgaon / Rohtak or any other work location as per requirements. Excellent Communication Skills and stakeholder management Eagerness for learning & Confident Attitude Openness to travelling within India or Overseas Collaborate effectively across functional domains Should be able to understand project timeline and prepare plan to meet project milestones Lead/Mentor a team and foster and environment of technical excellence and continuous learning Strong presentation skills SPECIFIC EXPERTISE FOR FUNCTIONAL AREA BASIC KNOWLEDGE (ALL ARE ESSENTIAL IN THE GIVEN LIST) Good Knowledge of IC Engines, automatic transmissions, Hybrids Engine Hardware Selection / Sensors / Actuators Understanding of Powertrain Technologies (Turbocharger/ VVT / EGR / Catalyst/ Canister/ OBD /AMT/ CVT / AT/ ISS / ISG etc.) Understanding of Speed lmit, Emission / CO2 Regulatory Norms – AIS018, AIS175/ BS6, MIDC / WLTP/ CAFÉ / OBD/ IUPR etc.
