Job description

Registered Nurse, Total Joint Clinic Olympia Orthopaedic Associates Location: Olympia, WA Job Type: Full-time Pay: $42.40 - $71.52 per hour (pay is determined based on years of experience) Summary of benefits: OOA covers part or all of the cost for Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Long-term Disability Insurance.

Employees are eligible to participate in a 401k plan with company matching. Flex spending plans, uniform allowances, and an Employee Assistance Program available as well. PTO is accrued depending on position, FTE status, and tenure. Olympia Orthopaedics is a drug-free, alcohol-free, and smoke-free workplace. Registered Nurse Summary: The Total Joint Clinical Registered Nurse supports a high-volume total hip and knee replacement practice by providing comprehensive preoperative and postoperative nursing care, patient education, clinical assessment, and care coordination. The RN works collaboratively with the orthopedic surgeon, advanced practice providers, clinical staff, surgery scheduling, and external healthcare providers to ensure patients are prepared for surgery and receive timely follow-up throughout recovery.

This position promotes surgical readiness, patient safety, continuity of care, efficient patient flow, and timely access to orthopedic services. The RN coordinates and tracks medical clearances but does not independently grant medical clearance or determine surgical readiness. Registered Nurse Requirements: Current, unrestricted Washington State Registered Nurse license.

Current Basic Life Support certification, or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire. Orthopedic clinical experience. Wound assessment and wound care experience. Demonstrated ability to perform clinical triage, coordinate care, and document accurately in an electronic medical record.
