Business Analyst for Planning application

Location: Bengaluru Work Mode: Hybrid Experience: 5–8 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: UK Shift (1:30 PM – 10:30 PM IST) Budget: Up to ₹24 LPA Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a Planning Application project, with a strong focus on Supply Chain, Sales Planning, and Forecasting.

The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical and communication skills, along with experience in gathering business requirements, analyzing business processes, managing stakeholders, and supporting application testing. The role involves working closely with business and technical teams to understand planning requirements and translate business needs into effective application solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Understand business requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement. Gather, analyze, and document functional and business requirements. Analyze existing workflows and identify gaps, challenges, and improvement opportunities. Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. Support Sales Planning, Demand Forecasting, and Budget Planning activities. Coordinate with stakeholders to validate requirements and manage changes. Support application testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.

Prepare clear documentation, reports, and requirement specifications. Mandatory Skills Business Analysis Supply Chain Domain Experience Sales Planning Domain Experience Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills Domain Knowledge Candidates should have an understanding of: Sales Planning: Setting and managing sales targets based on products, regions, customers, and time periods.

Demand Forecasting: Predicting future sales using historical data, business trends, and market inputs. Budget Planning: Supporting sales budgets, target allocation, and planning activities. Required Competencies Requirement Gathering and Analysis Business Process Analysis Stakeholder Management Functional Documentation (BRD, FRD, User Stories) Communication and Presentation Skills Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking Basic Understanding of Databases, APIs, and Software Development UAT and Testing Support Working knowledge of MS Excel and Jira Experience & Education 5–8 years of relevant professional experience.
