Production Supervisor

JOB OVERVIEW: We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead and direct the daily operations of our thermal spray production team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and a willingness to actively participate in production tasks alongside the team when necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Plans and manages shop production scheduling, establishing daily and weekly priorities. Oversee daily production activities ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met. Step in and perform production work alongside team members as needed to maintain workflow and meet deadlines. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer scheduling updates.

Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to optimize efficiency. Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance skills and productivity. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment. Hands-on leadership style with the ability and willingness to perform production tasks alongside the team. Must be a US person pursuant to ITAR / EAR. Ability to maintain positive employee relations and high levels of employee engagement.

One year of hands-on-thermal spray, coating, or related manufacturing experience required. Demonstrated ability to perform production tasks while leading a team.
