THE ROLE We are seeking dependable and hardworking Restaurant Utility/Dishwasher team members to help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

This essential back-of-house position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment while supporting daily culinary operations and maintaining food safety standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Dishwashing & Kitchen Cleanliness Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment. Hand-wash pots, pans, and specialty kitchen items as needed. Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked dishwashing and kitchen areas. Sweep and mop floors, remove trash and recycling, and maintain sanitary workspaces.

Ensure clean dishes and equipment are readily available to support efficient kitchen operations. Kitchen Support & Operations Restock clean dishes, utensils, and supplies in designated storage areas. Assist with basic food preparation, including peeling, portioning, and labeling as directed. Help receive, unload, and organize deliveries and kitchen supplies.

Collaborate with chefs and culinary team members to support smooth daily operations. Assist with opening, closing, and other kitchen responsibilities as needed. Food Safety & Sanitation Follow established food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Properly handle cleaning chemicals and operate dishwashing equipment safely.

Identify and report damaged equipment, sanitation concerns, and maintenance issues. Maintain consistent cleanliness and organization throughout each shift.

REQUIREMENTS

No previous experience required; training will be provided. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks consistently and efficiently. Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and workplace cleanliness. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a hot, humid kitchen environment.
