Jio. Ads help connect marketers and businesses to over hundreds of millions of Indian consumers. Our consumers spend more than seven hours a day with us. They connect to the internet via our Jio mobile network and Jio. Fiber solutions. They engage with us across our media and connectivity solutions like JioTV, Jio. Games, Jio.

Chat and Jio Cinema to name a few. With unique first-party consumer insights, Jio. Ads helps advertisers grow their business across their offline-online consumer purchase cycle. We deliver an optimized brand experience for both the advertiser and consumer across video, display, custom experiences, in-store experiences, digital OOH, audio, connected devices and coupons.

All in a “brand-safe” omnichannel network. We also work with premium publishers, helping monetize their ad inventory. With high performing, customized ad formats including native, interstitial and pre-roll and mid-roll, Jio. Ads helps drive revenue across all publisher platforms. With our powerful technology and insights, led locally by our Indian technology and product team, we are able to meet specific business and growth needs of advertisers and publishers effectively.

JOB SUMMARY

The Director — Agency Activation is a senior commercial and relationship role responsible for building and deepening Jio. Ads’ presence across India’s agency ecosystem. You will own two distinct but connected mandates: activating Jio. Ads within agency planning and buying teams across all holding groups, and delivering high-impact client activation events that drive brand consideration and pipeline.

This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable in a boardroom presenting Jio. Ads’ data story to an agency CSO and on the ground running a brand engagement event in Bengaluru. You will be the face of Jio. Ads to the agency world.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Agency Evangelisation & Relationships Own and deepen the Jio. Ads relationship with all major agency holding groups at planning, strategy, and leadership levels. Build a structured evangelisation programme that gets Jio. Ads on the standard media plan across agencies — not just as a one-off but as a consistent, preferred platform.

To ensure agency partners are fully briefed on Jio. Ads’ volume deal structure, cohort capabilities, and product benchmarks. Identify, recruit, and onboard agency champion groups that have historically been flat for Jio. Ads and represent the single biggest growth opportunity in FY 26-27. Track agency-wise revenue, pipeline, and engagement — reporting weekly to the Business Head with clear visibility on what is converting and what is blocked.

Client Activation & Events Lead the planning and execution of Jio. Ads’ client activation programme — brand engagement sessions, agency roadshows, and immersion events targeting senior brand marketing teams. Build a quarterly activation calendar that creates consistent touchpoints with the advertiser universe — covering South, North, and West markets.

Work closely with the marketing team to ensure each activation event is supported by strong Jio. Ads collateral — case studies, cohort playbooks, product decks — and that follow-through is tracked. Coordinate post-event CRM — ensuring every brand contact from an activation is logged, followed up by the relevant regional CP, and tracked through to pipeline.

Represent Jio. Ads at industry forums, agency summits, and trade events (FICCI, IAA, adtech, Goafest) as a visible platform spokesperson. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with regional sales leads to align agency activation with regional revenue priorities. Coordinate with the product and data teams to ensure the Jio.

Ads cohort story is always current, accurate, and differentiated in market. Provide regular market intelligence on agency sentiment, competitor activity, and pricing feedback to the Business Head. SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS Outstanding relationship builder — able to open doors, build trust quickly, and sustain relationships over time at senior levels.

Strong commercial instinct — understands how agency economics work (VDs, trading deals, margins) and can navigate them without losing the partnership. Credible presenter and storyteller — able to take complex data and audience proposition and make it land simply and compellingly for an agency planner or brand CMO. Organised and disciplined — can run multiple activation programmes and relationship tracks simultaneously without losing sight of pipeline impact.

Comfortable working in a high-growth, high-ambiguity environment where structure is still being built. EXPERIENCE: 8–12 years of experience in digital advertising, media, or marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior agency-facing or partnerships role. Demonstrable experience managing relationships with one or more major agency holding groups at a senior level Proven track record of driving revenue growth through agency channels — not just managing relationships but converting them to commercial outcomes.

Experience owning or co-owning large-format brand events, immersion sessions, or industry roadshows. Prior experience in a programmatic, data-led, or audience-first advertising platform is strongly preferred.
