Operations Lead

Summary Qiqi Farms is looking for a dynamic and meticulous Operations Lead to manage the day-to-day functions of our business, including logistics, delivery schedules, stock control, supplier relations, and on-site activities. This pivotal role demands a professional capable of navigating the fast-paced environment across Lagos, ensuring seamless coordination between teams and efficient order completion.

The successful applicant will serve as the backbone of our operational workflow, utilizing strong planning abilities and technical proficiency to maintain high standards of service and reliability.

Responsibilities

Operate vehicles safely and confidently using a valid driver's license while utilizing digital navigation tools like Google Maps for optimal route planning. Facilitate professional communication and effectively coordinate between delivery teams, suppliers, and internal staff. Oversee end-to-end logistics, including inventory tracking, supplier management, and the execution of field operations.

Resolve operational challenges promptly to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders. Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all business activities and transactions. Supervise and direct riders, drivers, and other team members to maximize productivity and adherence to schedules. Leverage digital tools such as Google Workspace, Excel, and WhatsApp Business to streamline communication and data management.

Demonstrate strong customer service etiquette while managing relationships with external partners and clients. Work autonomously with a proactive mindset, maintaining performance and composure under pressure.

Requirements

Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to drive with confidence. Proficiency in using mapping applications (e.g., Google Maps, Waze) for efficient route navigation. Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication abilities. Proven capability to coordinate complex logistics, inventory, and supplier networks.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management competencies. Advanced skills in Google Workspace, spreadsheet software (Excel/Google Sheets), and WhatsApp Business. Experience in managing and leading teams of drivers, riders, and support staff. A professional demeanor with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and thrive in a high-pressure setting. Prior experience in operations, logistics, FMCG, agribusiness, or food distribution is highly preferred.
