• Georgetown, KY, Salary Range: $16.00 - $20.00, OCCKY Job Description: Janitorial Cleaner Job Title: Janitorial Cleaner Company: OCCKY Location: Toyota Manufacturing Plant, Georgetown, KY Department: Operations Reports To: Janitorial Supervisor Position Summary OCCKY is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our janitorial team at the Toyota manufacturing facility in Georgetown, Kentucky. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and organized work environments throughout assigned areas of the facility. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, able to work independently or as part of a team, and committed to following workplace safety procedures. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Clean and maintain assigned production areas, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, cafeterias, and common areas. Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and clean floors and surfaces. Collect and dispose of trash and other waste materials in designated areas. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures. Replenish restroom supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other approved janitorial equipment after receiving proper training. Properly use, label, and store cleaning chemicals according to safety procedures. Maintain cleaning tools, equipment, and supply areas in an organized condition. Report maintenance concerns, unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, and workplace incidents to the supervisor. Follow all OCCKY and Toyota safety, security, and facility access requirements. Complete assigned cleaning tasks within established schedules and quality standards. Perform additional janitorial duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Previous janitorial or industrial cleaning experience preferred but not required. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to work independently and with a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow established safety procedures and cleaning standards. Willingness to learn and operate cleaning equipment.

Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends or overtime when required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive movements. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Ability to push cleaning carts and operate approved janitorial equipment. Ability to work in an active manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. Safety and Workplace Expectations All employees are required to comply with OCCKY policies and Toyota facility requirements, including: Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Following designated pedestrian walkways and safety markings. No cellphone use while walking inside the facility. No unauthorized photographs or recordings. Proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals. No sharing of identification badges or access credentials. Immediately reporting injuries, incidents, and unsafe conditions.

Maintaining professional conduct and following supervisor instructions. Work Schedule Various shifts may be available, including first, second, and third shift.
