Accountant

On behalf of our client, active in the property investments and management space, we are seeking an Accountant to support with financial budgeting, monitoring and analysis of real estate projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform daily bookkeeping, accounting and administrative tasks. Assist with the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts for real estate projects. Monitor project costs, expenses and cash flow against approved budgets. Prepare financial analyses comparing budgeted, forecasted and actual costs and income.

Support the analysis of project profitability, margins and financial performance. Identify significant variances and discrepancies and provide relevant information to management. Collect, verify and analyze financial information from different departments, suppliers and external partners. Work closely with the Accounting, and other departments to ensure accurate financial information and effective cost control.

Support the team in assessing the financial impact of changes, additional costs and project-related decisions REQUIREMENTS – SKILLS: A University degree in Accounting or a related field will be considered an additional qualification Previous experience in accounting, ideally with some exposure to real estate, construction or project-based environments will be considered an additional qualification Excellent knowledge of computers and ability to quickly learn internal systems Excellent knowledge of Greek and English (oral and written) Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and collaborate effectively with different teams.
