Transformer Design Engineer

Responsibilities

Design Distribution & Power Transformers (up to 10 MVA, 33 kV Class). Prepare design calculations, GA drawings, BOMs, and technical documents. Ensure compliance with IS/IEC standards and customer specifications. Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Sales, and QA teams. Support tendering, testing, inspections, and manufacturing activities.

Optimize designs for performance, efficiency, and cost.

Requirements

B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. 3–10+ years of experience in Transformer Design. Knowledge of IS 1180, IEC standards, AutoCAD, and transformer design calculations. Experience in Distribution and Power Transformer design is mandatory.
